Do you guys have any tips for using a random orbital buffer with m105 and m205? I have some 1200-2000 wetsand scratches and some swirl marks.

My biggest question is which pad to use, as I've gotten different answers depending who I ask. wool or foam, and which one for which compound?

PD -
I have used the Meguiar's 105 and 205 with good results.
I know some people ascribe to wool only, but the foam seems to work pretty well for me for light cutting jobs. If you need real aggressive cutting, then consider a wool pad instead.
I use the 105 with a light duty orange foam pad.
For the 205, I would go with a white foam pad.

Hope this helps!
