Is this "urethane wave" ?

Discuss anything after that final masking comes off.

For taking off the goo on emblems, try a wire wheel on a drill. Real light pressure and make sure you wear saftey glasses. The stuff seems to want to end up right in your face. Once it is real close then switch out to wax and grease remover and scrape the rest off with a razor blade.

I just soaked with Goo Gone or Goof Off for several days, reapplying every day. My tool of choice was the thumbnail. Goof Off is much stronger, but evaporates pretty quickly. Goo Gone was great for the body side molding that had more of a rubbery adhesive. The badges had more of a foam adhesive that soaked up the Goof Off. It bubbled up the foam in no time.

Those body side moldings look great. We ended up buying a tank to soak ours in at work just cause they are so labor intensive to clean. Before you remount your moldings and emblems get some adhesion promoter for double sided tape. 3m makes a little foam pad with the promoter in it that works real good. They should run you about a buck each at your local jobber. You want the promoter on the molding and on the panel itself where your mounting the molding, if not you will probably have issues with them staying on. Transtar also makes an adhesion promoter that comes in a bottle with a blotter on the end but that runs about 20.00 a bottle. Way more than you will need for one vehicle.

I used the little 3M foam pads and the 3M adhesive tape. Didn't apply the AP to the paint, only the molding. Directions said to clean the painted surface with isopropyl alcohol. Those things are stuck on for good!
