Looking for a good mini polisher/buffer

Discuss anything after that final masking comes off.

You can get a Velcro pad for a da and just get the pads from Ardex. Is that what you mean?
Good work don't come cheap, cheap work isn't always good!

I really like my Dynabrade 18055. Works great, lightweight and can get into any location.

It uses a lot of air, though.

Received the Dynabrade, very nice tool. Chris can you direct me to some good cutting/polishing pads? The ones that came with are very good.

I like the CCS 4" spot buffs from Autogeek.
I just use my regular buffer with a smaller pad
The yellow cut almost as fast as wool.

The ones Jim linked look very good. I believe I got mine from one of my suppliers, I'm not even sure which brand they are. They seem to last a long time, I don't think they wear out nearly as quickly as the larger buffing pads on a full sized buffer.

Thanks got some on order, just curious but do you run it wide open when cutting or polishing? Ive had a hard time with removing swirl marks with my Makita dual action buffer using the black pad with 3M polish compound. Am I supposed to use a good amount of pressure and high/low speed? I need a tutorial lol.

Very little pressure. I don't use it to cut anything, just final polish in areas that are tough to get to.

I use a yellow foam pad for everything, with this mini buffer and I'm using Wizards turbo cut most often. My son has tried to get me to use a couple of other brands; I just keep going back to Wizards.
