Hey'all. I need some advice. Long story short, an inexperienced hand smeared bondo across the window trim on the triangle windows on my foxbody mustang. He has been let go, but now I'm left cleaning up his mess. The trim is not in the best shape, so they may just get replaced, but seeing a learning opportunity, is there anyway to removed it without causing damage? It's very thin, because it was put on as he wiped the bondo from the roof outward and just scraped across the un-taped trim.

The majority should chip off when dry then lacquer thinner to remove the rest. However the material the trim is made out of may change your options.
