Rough finish, will sanding help ?

Discuss anything after that final masking comes off.

First off this is not on a car, rather its a car part I'm painting. Anyways in some areas its really smooth and glossy, and in some other areas its pretty rough feeling and not that smooth or glossy looking. Will wet sanding help at all ? I put 2 light coats on and 1 medium wet coat, I don't want to sand threw the paint. Maybe use a 1200 grit sand paper with soap and water ?

Sounds like your overlap when spraying was a little large. Anyway, go for it, you can fix many problems color sanding, and if it doesn't work, repaint.
