I hear everyone talking about which glaze or polish they use and how long after clearing they wait and things like that. But can someone tell me exactly what order I should use these products in? For example I would like to use either megiuars or 3m products so can someone tell me what products i would need from start to finish? I've heard really good things about megiuars car show glaze, but I have no idea when im suppose to use it. I know this question probably doesn't make sense but I hope someone can decipher it and help me figure out what I'm doing!
Thanks in advance

SAND YOUR CLEAR WITH 100 TRY TO TAKE OFF ALL THE SHINING THEN USE 1500 GRIT WITH WATER.. THEN 2000 3M GRIT WET ANDING.. PUT THE DIAMOND CUT ON THE BODY USE THE MACHINE WITH RUFF PAD FIRST ITS LIKE THE CARPET...USE VERY SLOW MOTION FIRST THEN INCREASE TO NO 1 THEN 2 THE 3 AND YOU WILL GET A VERY HI SHINING.. VISIT MEGIUARES SHOP AND THEN THEY WILL RECOMMENT U TO USE THE NEXT AND NEXT POLISH OKY GA |

i would scratch the right angle grinder idea that great adventure mentioned and get a variable speed buffer (if you dont already have one). you can pick up a Vector (knock off of a makita) at most auto supplies for about $50.
i use 3M perfect-it in this order. first compound, then swirl remover/polish, then glaze. on new cc ill sand with 1000 then 1500 then fine cut compound and so on. so far if i take my time i only have to make one pass on each step and comes out great good luck jerry |
DEAR JERRY,
THANK YOU FOR OFFERING THE MAKITA BUFFER... WHICH ONE DO YOU MEAN?IS IT LOOKS LIKE A DRIL MACHINE.. OR DO U MEAN ROUND SANDER AND POLISHER?? CAN U SHOW THE PIC IF POSSIBLE THE ANGLE MAKITA POLISHER THAT I AM USDING IS BEEN RECOMENDED BY MEGUIRES AGENT HERE. IT IS MORE HEAVY DUTY BECAUSE I AM USING IT FOR BOATS CUSTOM PAINTING.. THANKS YOU GA |
