I have my car stripped down to bare metal.Im planning to use Kustom Shop 2K urethane primer what do I do afterwards block sand then base or filler then block then base. Can I do the same proccess for the bumper covers , but only that I put adhesion promoter before primer. I will be doing a little bondo but not much, car is in perfect shape. The paint im going to shoot is a metallic.

Can that primer be applied over bare metal? I couldn't find any tech sheets for it that would download properly. I know that advertisement says, "properly prepared . . ." and that could mean you need epoxy primer or etch primer on there first.

Yes I contacted the makers and they said i could.

I'd still be reluctant to put 2K (urethane primer) over any large
bare metal areas. Even if the mfg says it's ok. I would put epoxy on it first. JC.

Remember you can buy etch prime in the rattle can. I used some yesterday on a truck Im workin on....Just a little around the edge of my bondo,,,30min later I was spraying my filler primer.
