Besides the smaller tip size compared to a primer gun is there any reason I shouldnt use my lph-400 to prime with? Will it damage my gun somehow? The reason I used it is cause I have no air pressure regulator knob on my primer gun. It comes out full blast. I just ordered a regulator with a gauge but I HAD to use my lph-400.

It will be fine for epoxy primer but the 2k build primer really needs at least a 1.8 to get enough material on there.
You may end up reducing the 2k to get it to spray through the smaller tip and then you will need to shoot more coats to get the same amount of build.
