here is where I think the problem came from. I must have waited too long between cleaning my sandpaper and it balled up and made these marks. I can not figure any other compound and pad would work as well as super duty with the grit inside to remove these swirly marks

tonight I am going to try to wetsand a small portion with 2000 and see if that does not remove the scratches left behind by the da

I hope I dont sand through the clear

I am not trying to piss you off by going in a different direction.

but you know what tommarro I will get some meg 105 and a wool pad and see if it looks as good as the spots I sanded with 2000. by the way it looks really good, super clarity and no scratches with the 2000g and a soft block.

that seems like alot of work to resand the whole car when your method might work and save me a possible respray.

there are a few people on this site that seem to have their stuff together and I dont want the I told you so post later on after I sand though the clear

that ********** universal is so soft that I can see scratches from my microfiber towel at the right angle and the right lighting.

I wish I knew how soft it is before I sprayed it just seemed that so many people on this site use it

It will harden up more in time as long as you mixed it properly.
