Hi,
My body shop called me today and said he now recommends repairing the door instead of replacing the skin. Originally he wanted to replace the skin as it looked deep when he first inspected. He's fixing the rear quarter panel as he says it's a new car, he'd rather not cut and weld.
Should I replace or repair the door? If repair, how much cheaper is it compare to replacing the skin?
Thanks!

It's not a bad repair and depends on the skill level of your repair shop. If I replace outter skin I would use door skin glue.
