My spray is 'pulsing'. It pushes the paint out in rythmic spurts. And it pushes out blobs instead of atomised paint.
I don't know about the blobs but the pulsing has nothing to do with the paint because it does the same thing when I am putting pure thinners through it.
I thought maybe the blobs were insufficient air so I cranked it up but it made no difference.
Can anyone explain why this would be?
regards,
ab

its sucking air from somewhere, probably the tip but not neccesarily
|
Thank you, guys. I can believe that's the cause. I took it down for a good cleaning for the first time. Probably didn't fasten the tip on tight enough.
I didn't oil the mixture needle, either - that would affect the air seal, too, I guess? ab |

So moved.
Is there a question on the vote?? |
|
No question on the vote. All in favor please say aye. Aye, throw that gun away! www.spraygunworld.com or www.tooltopia.com would be my next stop. Check out the Astro EVO 4014, a painters suit, respirator, 1/2" air hose, air compressor - while you're at it.

Seriously Ab, you've come this far and learned a ton. Get yourself a good knock off gravity feed gun. You won't be sorry......can be had for under $100 in the good old US of A........you can likely get it for about the same......
Let us know how you make out..... |
