Best paint for a beginner painter

What is the most forgiving and easy to use paint for a beginner? Any brand too? I used Dupont Nason Urethane my first time and I think I maybe should I tried something better. This was on a fibreglass car. Thanks.

everyone i seen says acrylic enamel and brand would be Dupont Centari but that stuff isnt cheap.

I've actually asked this question a lot and always hear 2 stage paint system. As for specific brand, I have no idea, but would think more expensive usually is easier to work with.

PPG Omni Brand. Cheep easy to work with good results.

i would thinkg single would be easyer. 50% less work and if any problems just wet sand.(as long not metallic)

i dont think ppg lets people ship over the internet. so you will have to goto you local store . If you in portland orgon i could get you the name of the place i get it from. (dont have it right now)
gota love that Omni price got gallon of epoxy primer and two quarts of cat. for 65 bucks omni has both single and dual stage |

Omni does sound like a great deal. I will look for it locally. Are there any negatives to using it. Sounds like a great paint. Thanks for the info. This is a great forum.

I just last week used Omni base coat clear coat on my sons truck and it turned out incredible. The mettalic base coat layed perfectly and the clear coat went on real smooth.
