I am ready to make an attempt at fixing some of the dust nips and whatever other trash is in the new paint I have. For more info, please refer to this thread:

I have some polish products and one buff that I found. This stuff was from the last car that I did, which was about 3 years ago. Now I never have been a pro at this, just an amatuer. I have never used foam pads, and usually leave holograms. I want to do this right, and I feel like with a little guidance from some people who do it regularly I can.
The products I have are from Presta: Strata Ultra-Cutting Creme, and Chroma 2000 Cleaner/Glaze.
I have one Schlegel buff - part number 375-PC Polish/Final Finish 1200-1750 RPM (I can't seem to find this specific buff anwhere so they must not sell them anymore)
Some of the products can be found at:

I used to have a white pad like one of the compounding ones shown on that page, but I can't find it. I will be going tomorrow to the paint supply place to get what I need, so If you guys could make some recomondations I'll be all ears.
I already do know how to wetsand, It is just the buffing part I need help with.
Thanks

OK,
It's a good idea to read up a bit. And rather than me repeating myself just about every new post. I'll post links. Things to remember: Keep it simple with 3 compounds and 2-3 pads. http://www.autobody101.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12410 http://autobody101.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11996 http://autobody101.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10925 http://www.autobody101.com/forums/viewt ... 8956#78956 http://www.autobody101.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11195 http://www.autobody101.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=10790 A man can do all things if he but wills them.

None of the pictures I have show the hologram marks. Here is the car though.

You'll have to decipher the acronyms used. But the process involved in these
jobs are quite thorough. If you like a particular approach, look up the individual for more of his work.
