does compounding get rid of orange peel ???

Discuss anything after that final masking comes off.

hey guys well ive painted most of my car now and ive started colour sanding, ive done my rear qtr. started with 1000 grit then 1500 and finished with 2000 and looked like there was very little peel left and ive compounded and polished

will compoudning get rid of orange peel ???

Think of it like this...
Orange peel elimination= leveling of surface contours or flatting the surface (done with sanding grits).
Scratch Refinement = Elimination of the scratches left from sanding (usually compounding) and re-establishment of gloss and image (usually polishing).
