Plastic Welding Rods Polyethylene High Density
The pk of 12 Replacement High Density Polyethylene Rods work well with your Plastic Welding Kit to repair this material. To identify the material type do a burn test on a small sample. Both low and high density Polyethylene burn with no smoke, blue flame and a candle wax odor when flame is extinguished. these rods are 1/8" diameter x about 9". Longer lengths and larger diameters are available upon request. Low density is more flexible than high density.
