I didn't realize you get soaked from time to time. Some friends went to hot August nights and it rained most of the time. Yes this whole climate change agenda is out of control. The climate has been changing for a million years. In the 70's they thought we were in climate cooling.

Nice deal on the free fill, saved a fortune on that.

I'm still waiting on rocker shaft spacers for probably a year and a half. I don't understand what is going on with so many things delayed.

I sure hope I have the brakes sorted out. I'll bleed them again soon enough.
Not sure about the windshield, probably do it with a friend.

Not sure about the roof, I don't want to call the upholstery shop until I have it running and stopping. He's probably a month or two behind. Need a dry day to take it in which could be tricky with our fall weather.

Finally got the brakes sorted out, put the new wheels on and they don't fit. Need at least another 1/2" backspacing on the front. They're supposed to fit but that's most likely if you have the stance of a 4x4, I'm low like a trans am race set up. So now we're on the hunt for a 17x7 wheel with 4.5" backspacing. You would think that's easy but it doesn't appear to be. Might need custom rims :splat:

It's sort of running, need to mess with the carb and timing.

Glad to here its running cant wait to see it all done.

I finally Got an ARP Head Stud kit for the Hemi No bolts kits available but I did get a Stud kit, came while I was out of town working.
I now have that project to tackle that should be fun.

I'm still not finished with the heads though, I got one almost done I got the chambers on that one head I got two at 68CC and two at 66cc I have some careful tweaking to do on those two chambers, then Make the other head match.
I think I am gonna have the pistons pop up milled off all in an effort to get the static compression down . Right now I am like at 12 - 12.5 just too much for pump gas I wanna get it down to 10 But I think I am gonna have to live with 11 only so much I can do with the combination of parts I am trying to use.

I could buy another set of heads but I have way too much into the set I already have.

Yeah 12+ compression is way too much at least for older cars. I have heard that some newer cars have really high compression and run just fine on pump gas.

Well the Stang is running great but I have a coolant leak and exhaust leak to sort out. Also another brake line leak. Brakes are making me crazy

Its an 07 I talked to a tuner he said it wasn't a problem but I still think its way to hi I wanna bring it down. and would be simple enough with the correct cylinder heads but I am trying to run the Eagle heads witch flow a lot more air.
My machinist blew it when he ordered the pistons and I am stuck with what he ordered.

We used to have a 2018 Mazda that I'm pretty sure had 12.5 compression and ran on regular 87 octane. I thought that was really strange. My Riv is 10.5 and needs 94 octane or it pings if you put your foot into it.

Well knock on wood maybe all the brake leaks are solved. It's been 24 hours and all is still good. The only problem is the pedal goes right to the floor so I need to resolve that.

Doesn't seem to have any air or line leaks. My wife was on the pedal and said everytime I cracked the bleeder the pedal then went to the floor. Going to put a block under it and bleed it again.
I cleaned up the windshield to put it in and it's delaminating, I've never seen that. So now I need a new one.

She presses on break pedal you crack the bleeder screw Pedal goes to floor fluid and air escapes at bleeder close bleeder then lift foot & repeat till air is gone check reservoir in between each wheel your done.

Foot going to floor totally normal when bleeder is open.
Start at right rear first then left rear then right front finish with left front.
Dont put a brick under it lol

As far as windshield goes yes I have seen them de laminate.

Blead the brakes half a dozen times, no air in there unless I have to go through a gallon of fluid. Crack the bleeder and just fluid, no bubbles at all. Guess I'll just keep doing it, if there's air in there it must be way back. Yet the brakes totally lock up as they should?
I have a new windshield coming next week so that's cool. Thought it might be a pain to get one but no problem at all.
