That's pretty much the way it's always been, building Chevy motors are much cheaper. They are all great motors, would love to have all three of them in various cars.

Still waiting on the weather strip retainer for the Stang. Trying to get a new frame for the TR. I might have one lined up, still waiting on details.

Didn't know it was ate up that bad that it needed replaced ?

I had to put a New roof on my rental it wasn't looking so great after this years storms.
Plus My house roof took some hits too its got a leak I have to fix, so I have to spend money on this one too, I never get a break it seams. I may have to let go of a few projects.

It's pretty beat up, it would take a lot of work to fix with no guarantee it comes out perfect. Virtually no alignment adjustments on these cars so frame needs to be as perfect as possible.

Got the Stang back from the upholstery shop yesterday. Roof is all done, time to put the rest of the interior back in and finish a few other little things.

Too bad about the roof, I hate extra costs popping up. All my buildings here have steel roofs so pretty much good for life unless a tree falls on it.

Just a few little things left to do. It drives great, I can't say enough about the borgeson close ratio steering box, it's like driving a new Mustang.

Bountiful !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!    :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

You have to be very Proud of yourself ! Car looks awesome! :goodjob: I am very happy for you! been a Long time coming.

I am doing some stuff out in the shop building some new shelves trying to make some room for that Plating stuff I got last year, having to tear down old shelves that are full of car parts and engine blocks heads cranks and other parts move it all. making a bigger mess to clean up so I can get back to working on stuff.

Got both houses Roofs done now, Have a few other repairs to get through with the House which have priority right now then I can get back to my car projects. But for now my house repairs have to comes first. Being on the road commuting for the last ten years has really taken a toll on my home projects list that I have put off and now I am paying a price repairs are costing 4 times as much as they were even two years ago.

Thanks, it really does look nice in person. The stayfast top is a huge improvement over the original vinyl style. It really has been a long haul getting it done. Hopefully I can pick up the pace on the TR. The frame was shipped yesterday so should have it soon.

I need to reorganize my garage, way too many large car parts, hoods, fenders, doors that take up way too much space. I need more shelving in there.

The price of lumber has retreated a little bit but it's still stupid expensive. I wanted to add a simple car port onto the back of the shop and it was going to cost what I paid to build my 1000+ sq ft garage. That will have to wait. I have a bunch of house stuff to do as well but for the most part it's just time, not money.

I ripped down several of my old 2 foot shelves in my shop and am building a Large 4 foot deep and 20 feet long about 7 feet off ground to put things up, gonna run it all the way down the wall 60 feet that will give me a LOT of storage space and get stuff out of my way, At least that's the plan.
I am trying to get room to install a few of those Plating tank deals I won at auction last year. Filling the Tanks will be the next financial struggle as the chemicals are super expensive.
I hope to be able to do small parts and Carburetors restorations for people as a retirement gig to make a few Bucks in retirement.

We got the first 20 feet up yesterday had to put the Air compressor out side which I have wanted to do for a long time will have to build a shed around it. (More WORK!)
So right now I have no air at all have to get that going today. plus continue on with the shelving hope to have second one built and put up today but not in a big hurry.

You have a much bigger shop than I do, I could sure use the extra space. At some point I want to add onto the back of the shop but that's not in the cards at this time.

Put the Stang in a pretty big show last weekend, got a lot of positive feedback. I've resolved most of the issues with it.

I have the new frame for the TR so I'm ready to get back to work on it. Need to put the body on the frame and weld in a new floor pan for starters. Should be interesting.

Well I got the Air compressor hooked back up and working again a heck of a lot nicer in shop not having to listen to it I like having it outside.
I also got the second shelf all secure now, I have to start putting stuff up on the new shelf to make room to install the third shelf. Its gonna be a Trick to get it done as I have to work around my Lathe and my 4 post lift without moving either.

will see how it goes, I don't expect too get too much done today except getting stuff put away on the new shelves and organizing today.

VW Batt light came on recently and AC quit all at same time worked when parked started it up to go to work and ah ****!
I have to look into it, I stopped driving it till I figure it out, (Not driving junk here without AC!) The shop is a mess cant get it in right now.
I did check the belt its still on and it has a recently new Alternator and Battery but that doesn't mean much Batt connections look good. At a loss whats causing issue for now Have to get it in the shop to start trouble shooting it.
