Very nice Han.......................................Working for your friend, translates to Have to do a great job for peanuts and a pat on the back right??

I need to get some of the ********** clear, is it pretty easy to lay down? I spray with an Iwata lph400. I have used lots of different clears and from what I hear the ********** Universal is great, its pretty cheap too!!!!

Looks like it turned out nice. Whole car repaint? Was it just old faded/peeling paint or what?

Yah, you all know how "buddy" deals go... It's for his wife actually.
His Mini Cooper is next (bumper and hood repair).

Yes, it was complete paint job. It had minor dents everywhere, typical
bumper scrapes, rock chips and such but over all in fair condition.
Wouldn't mind having one of these for myself. Great cars.

alexfleco,

I shot this my LPH. 4 coats then lots of sanding and buffing. Polished out
all the chrome trim, lamps, and wheels too. Pitted windshield replaced,
the interior cleaned and leather condtioned. Cleaned engine bay,
and scrubbed the wheel wells (this really does the trick)... And i epoxied
sealed the front half... You'll like this clear for sure.

From what I am reading ********** is done with basecoats and most of what was in stock is sold out. Sure would like to see them continue with that Black because I have heard nothing but rave reviews.

Han, that car sure looks sweet. Nice job!

Han stick with the HS, MS or Universal clear.. The Euro would be fine for collision panel repairs, but its not for your higher end work

It goes, HS the MS and the Universal as far as highest solid content...
