A few months ago the paint got damaged, something ate through right to metal and I was Forced into repainting. This is the first time I've gone from start to finish by myself. Ramthis told me about this site and got a lot of useful info. I did the prep work but did not shoot the color. Did however do the buffing and polish. Still not quite done but it is a whole lot better. I may get some Menzerna finish polish for that extra touch. I used Meguairs products for compound and polish.

thanks  3 things I would like to do, add a rollpan, needs to be handmade with the hitch, your wheels(what are they?) and a cowl hood.

Is that menzerna sold in paint suppliers or just online?

Not sure how many are there. The painter told me he put enough on that a rookie like me should not cut thru it. And I didn't.

Everything I got was from Nasons. We've used that on the race car and was happy with it. So I figured, what the hell, try it.

You can use any roll pan and modify the hitch to go with it. I used a Sir Michaels Steel Roll pan, and hacked up my Draw-Tite hitch to fit directly behind my license plate, so I just flip up the plate and poof, the reciever plugs right in. Safety chains have some hellacious gussets with holes thorugh them to attach to. And, best thing, it's totally hidden behind the roll pan.

My wheels are SS/T or Indy Ram rims with Toyo Proxes ST 285-65-17's. If used on a 99 or older truck you wont have problems. 00-01's had didfferent front suspensions so I've had to make some modifications to keep my LCA from eating the inside of my rim when I turn the wheels.
