I did this for my neighbor kid. This was his first car. Pretty nice for a first car I think! :)

We used RM Diamont base and clear.
No wetsanding was done after clear was laid down.

Looks nice! I like the fastbacks better, but this coupe looks slick. What's with the beads in the window? No dangling dice?

I love the coupes. I had a 1993 GT. Was nice. It was a fast back.

Yeah, I never noticed the beads before. Not sure why he did that..

Now it's very nice for a first car. And i like the coupes better too.
Did you clear the lights?

We put the factory lights back on and with the new paint job, they looked bad. They were foggy. So we got all new ones. And since we did, yes we got the clear ones to make it look cleaner. The third brake light was cool cause it says "STANG" haha

Looks like good attention to detail too.
Does it look good enough to skip the wetsanding completely?

BTW, aren't those 'flashing beads', used as trinkets to throw at girls to entice them to raise their tops.....????? :shock: :shock: :shock:

The beads are actually steel bearings, huge ones. haha

We did skip wet sanding.
