It utilizes the original hood latch system. So when closing it is lowered onto the rails/rollers and then pushed backwards and down to latch the hood.
Getting this thing adjusted and the hood aligned was a nightmare.

I was going to use actuators to open it but it would require really long ones for it to have the right geometry. The speed and length would mean a full minute for the hood to open and I’m not cool with that so I’m going to use a Dzus fastener on each side at the cowl and a prop rod.
