Here it is so far. I’m really pleased how it’s turning out. It’ll look a lot better once I get some running boards fabbed for it. Also a tilt hinge for the hood.

Thank you sir. Yes it’s just exhausting when I look back at where it was initially. Still have tons to do but it’s so much more fun now since I can drive it.

It would look really cool with a Big old 6-71 or a 8-71 Blower sticking through a Hood.

I got a hard enough time buying my own toys

But I have seen some really good deals lately, All the Turbos on the market and centrifugal compressors have really pushed prices down on used ones.

You have to be very careful buying a used GMC though, I wouldn't buy one with out physically inspecting it first. First one I ever bought was Junk!

Well it’s been a little while since posting. Even though new tires took care of a major vibration I had there still remained a small vibration. I swapped the driveshaft with no change so I took my tires and wheels to have them road force balanced. Turns out that one of the back wheels that came with the truck was bent. Of course they no longer make that exact size off the shelf so I got two new ones similar size.

I’m also finally doing the Explorer 8.8 reared swap. It’s limited slip with 3,73 gears. I really should have taken before pics because it looked like a boat anchor it was so rusty. I finally got it cleaned up and painted. Hoping to have it back on the road this week and then get started on the running boards.
