A while back I did this tractor cab fabrication project. The second owner of the tractor bought another one just like it and wants me to build another cab for it.
Tractor came with the canopy only and there are no aftermarket suppliers so I was asked to build something for them. This is the prototype and they will use it for the winter and then we'll revisit the design.

Looks good. I enjoy building stuff like that too
Dont let them talk you into painting the tractor. I have painted about three tractors,,,and will never paint another! Its a LOT of work to get it to look good! "The number of parasites in the USA has now eclipsed the number of productive members of society"

The job came from the customer I did the 65 Buick Convertible for. I don't think I charged them enough money for this project though but they were happy.
The frame is 1/2 x 1 steel channel wrapped in 18 ga sheet metal. The front glass is laminated and the remainder is tempered. Rick, thanks for the tip on not painting the tractor. It looked liked they might be considering it and with all the hoses and grease I think it would be a nightmare. 1968 Coronet R/T
