I got the Last of the stuff in Epoxy

I am having problems with The Wax and grease remover reacting with the epoxy in a few pieces, I hate that! also have a Lot of lint on the panels that didn't show up till I started spraying. So some of the stuff is gonna get a Good scuffing and go right back into the booth. Other than that its all got to be scuffed and primed any ways so I am not worried to much, i am sure its because its cold.

I also have Been shopping for odds and ends to put this thing back together WHY oh why do I put this little stuff off????
Dug out a bunch of the other junk for it today started going through it, Pontiac stuff mixed up with Plymouth stuff what a mess!
I figure I have a hundred more hours of Blasting at the Cabinet to go yet then I don't know how long at the Plating machine.

Still debating about putting a Pontiac 400 ? 455? or an LS???? I have all 3 as I did pick up an LS Block that's been sleeved to 4.125 and clearanced for a 4 inch crank comes with a set of forged dish pistons. But thats all I have for it. The Pontiac stuff I have complete.
If I go LS I have a LOT of Junk to buy to make it work Plus i would have to get a super charger for it.
It would be a really cool monster if I did that.

Oh boy another day I have to get out their and do something even if its wrong!
I have to order the Body bushing kit to start assembling this thing. I can believe its not already in my pile of new parts how could I have skipped ordering them?

I got the Hemi coming back this week, I will have to drop everything and make room to build the engine then install it. That's gonna be another money pit fiasco! as Its not gonna be stock its been bored out with big pistons huge cam Bigger Eagle heads then I have to buy and modify a set of headers for it as they don't make long tube headers for the Jeep Commander then its getting a bigger Intake as well. after I figure it all out and get it all installed then its got to go to a Tuner to be tuned for all the mods.
Not looking forward to all the work but I want the project done and out of my way.

All 3 engine choices have they're pluses but I think I would pick the 455. I think it gives it the best resale value relative to how much it costs to do. The LS would be awesome but from what I've read there's a lot of extra parts and cash involved. Cool option though, power with reasonable gas mileage.

The retro hot rod Market is strong for LS in these things. But I too like the 455 I just hate to let go of one of my Prized 455 blocks. I still have time to decide though its not gonna be finished any time soon.

Thank God Xmass is over!
Well my Machinist has dropped the Ball The Commander engine is way behind I have no idea when I might get the call to come pick it up! I know my Guy though and am not worried it will be done when its done he will call.

Mean while I am still waiting for stuff to come in that I ordered and I dug out parts I should have already had done long ago. I have a table full of stuff to blast and paint.

I am looking at stuff I had originally planned to reuse as was with some cleaning and painting but now have decided to just replace the stuff so I started another list of parts to buy My Cards are Crying!

The Good news is I have pretty much got all the Plymouth and the Pontiac stuff all sorted out and separated and In their own piles! woo hoo! progress!
I will never ever be talked into starting another project while I have have one going ever again! what a mess!

If I didn't have Calvins car in their I could be working on the Plymouth or the Chevelle that's another car that's in the way the owner has walked away from due to expense of the project. (I was told repeatedly No problem! do it! I got the bills no worries!) (meanwhile I wait for parts that were promised long ago!)

I really am done working for other people gets old

oooo- flashbacks to high school(mid 80's). my best friend hadda 72 vista cruiser with a 455 rocket in it. that 4,000 lb beast could light em up no problem. not much on top speed but the torque was pretty impressive for a party barge.

I had a 455 4 speed TA with a 455 years ago, I had highly modified it! It was a Blast to drive.
It would pass anything but a gas pump! and It had Top end It would cruise at 150+ no problem! I never pushed it passed that. I have had a few 400 TAs as well they were also fun to drive Torque monsters.

I have owned a couple of the LS cars now and I have to admit I am impressed with them.
