Well I was finally able to get her back on all 4's since I painted the cab and the front clip.

Thanks man, no driveshaft is installed, thats why it was important for me to get her on all 4's and at ride height so that I can start welded up the driveshaft kit I just purchased. I'm also going to get back on those doors, I needed a little break from block sanding but its time to get back on that.

All i can say is wow. I went through all 19 pages and it’s nothing short of amazing. I see you’re in Inglewood. My wife and i moved to LA in June 2017. We are on the LA side of Van ness off 92nd street. She is an LA native while I’m from New Orleans.

We were given a 65 impala by my wife’s grandfather. I am new to this forum and have zero paint experience but am hoping to learn with the help of this site. Your work is definitely inspiring and can’t wait to see it completed. Well done!

Whats up neighbor? You live right down the street from me. By the way a lot of us meet up at the Lowes on 120th between Van Ness and Crenshaw the last Sunday of each month. If I'm not busy I try to make it down there.

Lets see pics of the 65. Whats your plans for it?

Thanks for the compliments man I really appreciate it.

I know exactly the meet you’re referring to. I use (although I’ve fallen off the wagon recently) the 24 Hr Fitness Gym across the street from that Lowe’s and have seen some of the cars there on Sundays. The weather has been so bad lately but when it clears up i will definitely come check it out. My wife is currently prepping for the bar exam so I’ve got our kids, age 3 and 15 months. This is a great meet that’s close to home that will hopefully get them but by the classic car bug.

I’m currently getting my garage ready to hopefully begin the project by end of March for my birthday. I purchased a used compressor last week and want to get my garage suitable with new drywall etc after i find an electrician to run the 220v line. I’ll post a thread once i get ready to start. I’m going to have a ton of questions. I saw your PM as well, i’ll reach out once i get ready to roll. I’m excited but just hoping I’m not taking on more than i can handle.

Well once again I could not leave well enough alone. The more I looked at the truck the more 20x12 in the rear kept on calling me. So I decided on new shoes for the project. I thought 20's in the rear would look better with the Fleetside bed. So I went with 18x7 front, and 20x12's rear.

On the Tech side how do you go about the speedo calibration for the bigger wheel?
Your running a computer controlled automatic right?

Thanks man and yes its a computer controller auto. I have the HPtuners software to program the pcm, its simply entering the tire diameter.
