Please excuse the dirty camera lens. Didn't notice the spots until I posted the pictures.
Door panels installed:

Soldered all the wiring for speakers and stereo connectors. Installed the heater controller and cables, radio with microphone mounted near steering wheel, then installed the center console and radio surround.

Installed the spare tire:

Cleaned and painted convertible top frame then installed it. Installation instructions for the replacement top leave some to be desired so decided to wait until my heads clear before I start on that.

You probably already know but just in case you can buy a convertible top installation video specific to the Miata. That is what I did when I put a top on the Pontiac, got a video specific to that model/year car, it really me helped a lot.

Needs a day in the Arizona sunshine to relax a little bit. Been raining for a week now so won't be today.

Got one of the bucket seats covered:

Yes, ********** Euro Clear.
I did a minor cut and buff mainly to get rid of some dirt. Not the full scale cut and buff I do for show car finish.

The roll bar bolt spacing was about 1/2" short from one side of the car to the other. Called the manufacturer to complain and the guys said that is a problem on the 1990 Miatas but I could stretch it and make it work.
After looking it close I realized the whole thing had raised up in the center during their welding process. Using some tow straps and my engine hoist I was able to get it to fit.

Had to cut into the plastic covers in order to get them back on but everything seemed to work out.

Installed the seats, floor mats and pedal pads:

Put new speakers in the doors and wired in the headrest speaker with plug connectors so the seat could be taken out if needed.
Just a few more items, a good cleaning and it should be ready to go home.

Repainted the Miata emblem and installed rear badging.

Going with Konig Helium rims and Dunlop DZ102 tires.
This will be a 15" wheel instead of the Factory 14" and allow for tire about 1" wider.

Not worrying about getting it perfectly flat. Basically just removing any dirt and serious orange peel. This car came out pretty decent right from the gun.
