No sir, it doesn't. That's why I keep upping my oz/coat estimating formula.
I don't like be caught short of paint and if you have to respray anything all work comes to a stop while you run to the jobber and hope he mixes it right.

That color looks great! What is it? Blue silver metallic?
So 1 gallon of clear was enough for 2 coats on the whole truck?
Did you get any heavy orange peel and are you cutting and buffing it?

Beautiful job, Jim - what a transformation on that truck. Can't wait to see it done. Your customer is going to flip when she sees it! :goodjob:

You cranked through this pretty fast, too.

Thanks Chris, the truck still has some dings and dents but she uses it for hauling hay and hunting so really just wanted it one color.
I fixed the major eye sore stuff.

Must say that I am more impressed with the Tamco DTM primer each time I use it.
The clear laid down real nice so and that was good since I didn't have time in the quote for cut and buff.
I sprayed the HC-4100 exactly the way I spray the ********** Euro clear, mixing it 4:1 and 30 psi on the Tekna Copper with a 1.4 tip. No runs, no drips and only a tiny bit of dust.

Couple of more pictures.
Here's the damaged fender before and after. You can see the reveal is not perfect at the front of the rocker panel but the time involved to make it all perfect was not in the quote or her price range.:

That fender and rocker panel came out great from what I see.
For the fender did you remove and just tap the dent out from the inside on a table?
How'd you get the rocker panel to look like that?
