I have the reproduction hood bird decal. I held off putting it on because I wanted to try the clean look without it first. I agree, it looks naked. So I'll be putting it on. Mainly because the shaker hood call outs are a lighter blue that matches the lighter blue in the hood bird. Without it there isn't another example of that light blue to play off of and it looks out of place.
The reason that says SD461 instead of SD455 is because the original engine for this car was destroyed by the original owner. I built a Pontiac 400 cubic inch motor with a stroker kit to make it displace 461ci.

I already have the heads block and have discussed the head work with Butler, just have to get the heads to them for the work oh and order the stoker kit.
I have to stay on task to get current projects done as well. The Chevelle and 70 firebird have priority at this point. The 71 is a personal project like your GTX. Dennis B.
