Does the shop $1200 repair include all parts too? If so that is a great price I believe, and I highly suggest you go that route.

body shop doesnt include reinforment bar/bracket attached to rails , grill - i got both of them for 80 at junk yard already..
(also got an exellent hood / hinges 140.00)

it does include fixing , weldinf rails , straighten out body /frame repairing and painting both fenders and hood , front bumper and hood

i NOW would like to do the job myself partly cause' i m not worrking right now funds are limited..
fenders are not tremendously banged up so i m not intimated to give it a shot ive done some bodywork before .." some" im definetly looking for sudgestions about straightem out the body thought. i have some ideas..
im gonna take some pictures with headings and post them maybe you guys can let me know if im on right track

I dont think you ever said what year that was or if it was 4x4 or not But older Durangos can be had in my neck of the woods with strait bodys and good interiors for cheap $500-1000 with blown motors or bad trannys last thing I would do is think about fixing that one.

I have a good 2 wheel drive 2001 model with a good running 4.7 in my back yard with a good body and interior but has a bad tranny that was given to me.
Been eyeing several on Craigs list that need an engine.
Durangos are good trucks if you get the 4x4 with the 360 but they are Gas hogs.
I wouldn't fix that one but that's me, easier cheaper finding another that needs less work.

Even after you fix it its still gonna be a wrecked truck with Frame damage
