A couple of things:
1. Avoid using any products (including body putty) that don't have 2 parts (i.e. hardener) 2. Rust is a cancer that unless you cut it all out or convert it properly will come back to haunt you. 3. Body work is 99% of what you will be doing that makes the finished product right. No real way to hurry it other than gaining experience and having the right tools and products. 4. Check out the other members projects to find similar repairs that you are facing. Seeing how things are done usually makes it a lot easier to understand. Welcome and good luck with your project. Let us know what your overall plan for the truck is and the level of restoration you are trying to achieve. 1968 Coronet R/T
