Getting close to the end. Probably will never be finished. New headliner in, took a long time but like every thing, its a first time. (zero wrinkles) Put lots of small trim that was bought last year, all door and window whiskers, all new rubber trim, door handles, all new arm rests, front eyebrows, rear extension trim, wheel well trim, all glass in, ect. New wheels on. Weighting on new front seat upholstery, hood hinges. This is going to be a very nice every day driver.

You got to be liking it when there that far along on the journey.
In the begging its just a Vision then in the middle "Dam this will never be finished" then One day it happens and Dam its almost done!

Kudos on seeing all the way through! Looks really good!

Great work on a great car. And awesome story being your brother had one new back in the day. That year body style with that engine option and red that is really something.

I consider this project finished and the thread will slowly sink to the bottom. Started May 2018 finished July 2021. The mechanical was done (passed with ease) and the plates where put on today. First run on the hwy. in many years went very well. Although there will be many small thing to do and add, this one is back on the road. Thanks for all the info and encouragement along the way. The car is not perfect but is is one hell of a driver. I wish AMD was where they are now when we started this. It would have made this a lot easer. It was a big project for a first time. I still cannot get the pics straight. Pics are taken in the same place, at 19 years and at 71 years old. The trans am is this daughters, she bought it 5 years ago with 9 thousand miles on it and it is completely original including the paint.

Very nice.
The pictures straighten up when you click on them.
Amazing how the time goes by. If anyone saw a picture of myself at 19 they would probably reach for the personal protection.
