Let me know what you find for Sway Bars I need a Rear set for my Plymouth.
Arent B body lower Control arms all the same through a Bunch of years ?
Think its in the Parts interchange book I will see if I can find my copy

Not the ones with the sway bar attachment. Those were on cars with performance suspension.

He rebuilds suspension stuff as a side gig 1962-72 B body and 1970-74 E body LCA's are all the same. They interchange. Again, it's where sway bar mount tabs are welded onto the arm that make them year specific to one another. 1966 to 69 B body's have the tab welded on by the shock absorber mount hole, at the end of the arm, and 70-72 B body and the 70-74 e body's have the tab welded in the middle of the arm Dennis B.

The one's on the car now don't have any sway bar mounts. So I am guessing they came from a later model. 1968 Coronet R/T

Inner and center supports after trip to the blast cabinet.
Removed the hinge nut assemblies. Look much better after blasting. The holes I drilled through when removing spot welds will get welded up prior to epoxy primer being applied. Washing the inner structure prior to media blasting. This is the time to hammer and dolly any areas that need attention. Many cannot be reached from the backside after assembly like the hood latch nuts that were pushed up in a couple of spots. Scraping the hardened adhesive off prior to washing. I also repaired the dents around the area where the PLYMOUTH emblem mounts on the hood. Started blasting the underside of the hood skin as can be seen in the first two pictures. Very slow going at the low pressure required not to destroy the panel. I will use a DA to strip the top of the hood after it is reassembled. 1968 Coronet R/T

Unless 68 has a conditioned shop, ask him how he feels about that "dry ground" come this July and August!! I raced an open car (Factory Five Cobra) at Phoenix one time during summer! I think the tarmac temped out at over 140 - before noon! But back to 68's build, looks awesome - have you decided on a color scheme yet? Or do you change your mind (like I do) every couple of months? Love the photos! Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head...

Where I live it is 4400' above sea level and generally 15-20 degrees cooler than Phoenix.
We get a touch of the four seasons here with abbreviated fall, winter and spring. I generally tell people we get two hot months, two cold months and the rest of the year is nice. Forecast for tomorrow and Sunday is Sunny and 62 degrees. Then it drops down into the low 50s again. I am thinking of the original QQ1 Electric Blue but possibly adding a white vinyl top and using white stripes down the side. However I did pick up some sky blue pearl to try over some silver paint I have in the cabinet. Paint is so far in the future it seems right now. 1968 Coronet R/T

Too windy to blast outside today so I ran the upper control arms through the blast cabinet.
