Got the frame done and a good start on the skin.

Amazing work. I bet it is tricky to avoid bending deforming the skin once its removed. Then to get skin back on so that proper gaps with adjacent panels stay intact.

Got the skin done and both panels in epoxy primer.

Got it reassembled today and letting it sit 24 hours for the NVH-60 to cure.
Gonna be a high electric bill since I have to keep the booth above 60 degrees for the next 24 hours. Tonight's low is 13 degrees and tomorrow's high only 46 degrees. My little space heater will be working overtime.

I started using a Pellet stove with good results.

The Auto feeder in my new one works well and supplement's the space heater well as well My shop is not insulated as it should be. I am going to insulate my shop this year heating bill is out of control.

I am venting the smoke and heat out of pellet stove strait into shop as it burns so clean no smoke no ash from it and no smell.
I am gonna build a chimney out of old Brake rotors to catch and disperse more heat from chimney pipe out of it.
I am using about a Bag of pellets per 24 hr day at about $6.50-$7.00 a bag.
A heck of a lot cheaper than Diesel I was and am still using.
Knocked my use of diesel in half I keep the Space heater at lowest setting and the Pellet stove cranked all the way up.

A friend has a Outdoor gravity feed pellet stove heater deal from Tractor supply it makes more heat than mine, its all hes using to heat his 3 car garage! Hes is the reason why I went out and got one. I tried to find one like he has but they were sold out I bought a nice used off of Craigslist cheap.

i am looking for another one as one just isnt enough for my shop but 2 might be?
I figure two should work well in my UN-Insulated 40x60 at least till I get it insulated.
I am sure it wont be long and the Greenies will be after Pellet stove users'

I am blown away by how efficient the one I have is, it really does burn clean with the pellets from Home depot, The thing puts out an amazing amount of heat from such a small fire box truly amazing.
You really should look into one at least to supplement your current heating source.

My garage is 30x40 with 10' ceilings. I have a rolled foil type insulation on the exterior walls and ceilings which does help quite a bit.

My plan was to drywall over it but that hasn't happened yet.

I have just the steel sheeting, I was looking at sheet rock at $16 bucks for a 12x4 sheet and blowing insulation in behind it plus plastic sheeting as a vapor barrier. The ultimate in my opinion.
Then I seen The Foam insulation sheets Half inch thick 4x8 at $10 a sheet then thought that if I blew insulation behind that well now that would be the ultimate. then just put white Plastic sheeting over all of it wouldn't be as pretty as sheet rock when painted but it would be a stronger insulating factor.

I dunno yet, I like the idea of sheet rock for painting making the shop look nice.
And I think its worth it for resale value like or not I wont be able to keep what I have forever as I cant take it with me.

The added insulation also helps keep it cool in the summer months,so a well worth investment.

Got some epoxy applied to the underside of the trunk lid today.
I will let this cure and then apply seam sealer along all the edges were the metal is folded over. Then shoot another coat of epoxy and let it cure before moving to the top side.

Finally got this fixed. It turns out the retaining slot towards the front of the car was worn out. I tried straightening one of them and it helped but the metal was too weak to keep the tension bar in place.

I ended up cutting a thick 3/8" washer in half and while holding the tension rod into position, welding it into place. This was definitely a job for a contortion artist because trying to hold everything in the proper place and weld upside down, while leaning into the trunk was a feat.

This allows me to remove the tension bars when needed but also let me increase the level of tension without an popping issues.
