I restored them. A trip through the blast cabinet on the lines that would fit in there and the a wire wheel. Blew them clean with compressed air.

Installed the rotors, calibers, brake lines, torsion bars and front struts.
Need to buy a new sway bar with all the connectors since my car didn't come with one. Also new tie rod ends and shock absorbers. Plan to start working on the rear axle assembly while I wait for parts. 1968 Coronet R/T

Bought a sway bar kit but the bushing brackets that mount to the K-Frame are not correct.
Trying to deal with them about it but they haven't answered my last email yet. Decided to work on the tail panel while I am waiting for parts to arrive: The mounting pins on each end were broken off so I picked up some #12 wood screws to replace them. I used the Gorilla Brand of JB Weld since it had a stronger bonding strength rating. Test fitted the panel to be sure I got the pins in the right places. Next I cleaned the stickers off the tail panel using a sharpened chisel to get the bulk of it. Then I heated the adhesive with a Map Gas torch and used a single edged razor to remove the stubborn adhesive. Tried 3M Adhesive Remover but it didn't touch it. Then I painted the inside of the letters black: I put a second coat of black on the letters after it set awhile. Now I need to order the Argent Silver paint and new decals. 1968 Coronet R/T
