Started stripping the right fender and found a series of holes that had the "cave and pave" filler treatment.
This must have been for an emblem:

I was told this fender must have come from a Satellite with upper trim.

Had a couple of surprises with I removed the primer/filler from the weld areas. One was I needed to use a stud puller to raise the metal in a couple of areas where they got carried away with the hammer.
The other was that they also ripped the metal along the body line in two places. 1968 Coronet R/T

This is actually Q code which is very similar except a bit lighter and metallic.

I gather that color preceded the b5 color. Looks very similar in the pic but colors look quite different in person than in a pic. Looks like a great color and very nice with the clear coat on it!

I believe the Q code may have been one year only. B5 came out in 1969 from what I can tell.
In 1967 Q was dark red and in 1969 Q5 was a Seafoam Turquoise. 1968 Coronet R/T
