New project. Owner previously sanded it using 320 grit. Fixed a few spots before full spray with PPG base and clear.

I will bet though that PD's fancy state of the art shop has a tool to help with spraying that car upside down. I'd think that it would be easier for a short guy like myself. Sent by the random thoughts from the voices in my head...

Your picture was upside down at first but I straightened it out for you.
These guys were having some fun with it. Matte or flat finishes are enough of a problem as they are without trying to accomplish it upside down. 1968 Coronet R/T

Thanks for fixing the pic! I was just thinking that the guys were spraying without a respirator again. Actually, the car will be gloss black. The picture was after the owner sanded it with 320 grit and brought it to me.

you smell that? dimethylbadcrap. nothin in the world smells like that. smells like....victory. and brain damage. maybe central nervous system damage. |
