Bought this 71 a few months back to keep busy being unemployed during this BS.
So First things First the car needed Tires, and a driver side Window
So Before i even recieved the car i bought a good used tinted Window for $40 from a guy an hour away. Also caught a sale on BFG Tires $100 off.
Hello all bought another car oh joy i cant wait for the fun!
Picked up a 1971 442 from cali.
Owner has it Since 81. He also had a 1970 442 he sold in dec.
The gentlemen is tired of Cali politics getting up in age and selling his cars and moving out of state. He also had a 65 442 also that he sold recently.
The car is code a 19 ebony black with Black bucket seat interior. has a factory 8 track "works" too
W25 Hood, Auto .
The Owner did some work over the years Engine rebuild, stripped paint epoxy primed. Suspension, fuel tank cleaned, he accumulated many parts seat covers, door panels for interior, weather strip etc.
This one has a nice dash also.
It does Need a sport wheel in my opinion and those SS1's are going back on for sure.
Here are some pics of the car from the buyer still in cali waiting on transport.
First car im buying that has a "True Pink slip".

I like all the GM A-bodies of that generation but especially the Olds. Down the street from me was a 68 in a garage that never moved. Years later after starting a real job I went back and it was gone. Wonder where it ended up. Congratulations and good luck with the project
