So, yeah, I think NFT5 is on to something there.....the front of the blue windshield piece is actually pointed "down" at it's front. Not saying that in itself is going to fix all of it but it might help in establishing what is a finer degree of adjustment past that.....

Loosened the hood hinge to fender bolts and lifted the hood with a little extra force.
Also loosened all the screws and bolts in the front of the cowl grille, added a small shim under the left side and then re-tightened the screws.

Sent the owner a picture and he said he will be here Friday to pick it up.

Well, that's awesome.... now you are starting to think like a cabinet guy! We have to deal with those darn self-closing hinges all the time that are infinitely adjustable as well as things that just aren't square.... One of the things I kind of like about cars/trucks is the degree of tweeking you can do to get things "together." I think your client is going to be very pleased with his "old truck" that has a new lease on life.....
Again, top notch work..... :goodjob:

Truck looks spectacular. I bet the owner will be speechless when they see it in person.

You'll never get past that.... Old Stuff= Never Perfect I don't care if it's planes, trains, cars, furniture/whatever, stuff just never had that much perfection in the first place....

If it doesn't fit, clearly you needed a bigger hammer.

Good result. :goodjob:

Saying good bye!

Owner and his son rode their Harleys from San Pedro, California yesterday.
Dad loaded his into the back of the truck and off they went. I road my bike and escorted them a 100 miles or so and everything seemed to be going just fine.
