The tailgate trim was from Eckler's.
One of the issues I am having is that the suppliers don't have everything you need. So you end up getting what you can from one, then some more from another and the rest from yet another.
I just recently heard about Mar-K and they seem to have a good reputation for quality trim.

While waiting for body components I wired in a new connector and installed the dimmer switch.
Owner brought me a stereo to install with a new custom under dash speaker. What he failed to mention was that he speaker wasn't ordered for this truck it was a gift from someone. After dismantling the dash trying to get it to fit, I discovered the bracket was an 1" too long and the mounting hole was in the wrong place. Finally got it installed and working. 1968 Coronet R/T

Well, at least it is a nice "subdued" looking stereo head unit.

Yes, I can't believe how much these things are going for. Rusted out junk is bringing 7k and up, even though you will have to replace most of the metal.

It's a crazy market for all cars now.... I'm having a heck of a time getting the "right" Jeep for my grandson's build. Last one I tried to buy was only listed for 2 hours on the internet and was sold....

Still haven't received the parts I ordered in June.
Decided to media blast the bed while I wait. I only had a partial gallon of black epoxy so I mixed the rest of the gray I had with it. Still didn't have enough so the floor only got one coat. 1968 Coronet R/T

Got the passenger door painted and installed.
Installed trim and then the front right fender as well. Installed new antenna and the the cowl grille. What I need now is help from you Chevy guys. The following is a diagram of the mirror that was on the driver's door. The owner wanted me to match this on the passenger side but I cannot find the reinforcement bracket 3904460 anywhere. It looks like this. 1968 Coronet R/T
