I was being sarcastic. Hence the winking eye.

You take the same position I do. My name goes on it regardless of what the owner prefers.
I turn away work from anyone that demands substandard products or methods.

I know Buddy I was just having a bit of fun myself sorta like my post on the main forum thread "Blobs Blotches using Rattle can" thread. People need to grow some skin you know ?

For anyone who hasn't figured it out yet I am assisting with this car it belongs to my oldest Son who isn't helpless he is capable of doing this job by himself BUT he lacks the welding skills to pull off a really nice job and his Modifications skills are a bit lacking as well. that's something that comes with experience doing!
He wants it to look and drive as nice as possible so has asked me to assist him in these mods. So this time he is listening and taking my approach of Surgical clean clean clean FIRST!
I want this car OUT of my shop and rightfully so its been sitting there for almost a year now, He is moving on it way too slow for my liking so If I can push it along the sooner I get my Lift back! for customer work and I get to have some fun sharing and **** about it along the way.
So don't take all my complaints too seriously my main concern is his safety FIRST, I wont get another one like him again hence my complaints about not doing a back half Big tire car.

He worked on it for a whole two hours Maybe yesterday cleaning and started removing interior stuff woo hoo were making progress!

When Its clean enough and Prepped enough for for me to get in there to see things I will start marking spot welds for him to start drilling out spot welds and cut lines for the Plasma cutter and other cuts for cutting wheels.

The Right upper Box is going to be the worst of it and the hardest part to remove due to the previous attempts at repairing cracks SOMEONE DID (Gee I wonder who?)
I am NOT looking forward to that Dog turd mess! BUT luckily I don't have to do it! I will instruct him how to do it MY WAY!
There is gonna be A lot of grinding on that side its gonna be UGLY! I may have to cut it all out and Graft in a new section from another car? I don't know yet but I am concerned.

My next concern is Getting the Boxes square and even in the chassis before welding the new boxes in.
Not only has this car been drag raced to death Twisting it bad but It was also in a Bad front end accident at some point in its life as well! Its had MAJOR front end repairs Enough so that I know it should have been totaled! how it kept a clean title I have no idea?
Doing this on my lift is going to prove to be a tricky, I kinda wish it was on my Body dolly and then I could transfer measurements to the floor with a Plumb bob but I don't have that in this case so I am planning on making a Tram gauge to make a lot of my measurements with and going off factory measuring points on the chassis.
This would be best way in my opinion but this car is already twisted pretty good. I may have to bite the bullet & put it on my body dolly whether I like it or not and move it over my Tie downs in my floor and do a few pulls on it in an attempt to tweak it back strait at least straiter than it is now, I know I cant get it perfect but I think I can get it close, closer than it is now.

Well Xmass kinda got in the way with less than a few hr spent on the project last couple of days cleaning and removing interior so not much to show or brag about at this time.
But when its all properly prepped we will get to it!

I been going over the supplied Instructions for the parts install thus far and they are more than just lacking, I am really disappointed.
To add to the problems it looks like I need the Coil overs that will be used for the Mock up Before the lower mounts can be located and installed correctly!
This probably wont happen till the end of Jan due to expense They are not cheap!

Do you think with the kit you have you could mock up a couple of bars to mimic the shock installed at ride height. It would help if you can get the dimensions for the shocks off the website. For a few bucks in tubing and a couple hours sorting it out you could move ahead with the install.

He hasn't contacted them yet for the shock dimensions yet, I told him I need this to do the initial set up and locating of the lower four link mounts, He has almost completed the removal of the upper control arm brackets. upper spring mount and shock mounts are out. He is gonna have fun with the lowers lol. The uppers where a bear. He has only made one trip to the emergency room for crap in his eyes so far! I preach and preach PPE does he listen? He had a Diamond cutting blade fail on him at speed on my 10 inch grinder jumped out of his hands and almost cut his leg, could have been fatal!
Now he wants to use the T handle on the grinder instead of removing it!

After he gets all the stuff out without destroying the car or killing himself then I will step in for the cutting, Fabrication and welding. I should have pics of the progress tonight.

The Kid keeps working on it off and on not much accomplished in my opinion.
most pieces are now removed but there are some places from previous repairs need the weld bead removed.
