Thanks. We would like to have car ready to send to painter by end of September. Not sure if we are going to make it. We'll see.

Butt welded in patch in rear edge of donor panel. Also welded up drilled spot weld holes. Then fitted donor metal to body.

The metal above the donor panel had its edge rusted and some heavy pitting so I cut out and butt welded a patch in.

Lower rear edge where donor panel attaches was rusted. So cut off and butt welded patch in:

Next up. Need to cut out rust in inner wheel well. Some prior owner filled hole with some hard rubber substance to keep water out of the trunk. So I was not aware of this rust hole until I wire wheeled it down. So a little bit of scope creep but need to get the rotted areas correctly repaired.

Working on the rust hole from inner wheel well to trunk. Decided to patch the inner wheel well with two patches, upper and lower sections. Here is the upper patch fitted and butt welded in:

Butt welded in the second patch to finish the repair of the inner wheel well. Had to do some welding from within the wheel well and some from under the car.

Rear lower outer wheel well had three rusted areas to address. Rusted areas cut and and new metal butt welded in.
