Son ordered brand new hood latch got that installed and adjusted today. Installed adjusted gas door and took care of other loose ends like vacuum out inside of car floor ect ect.

Rolled the car outside to turn around so that the front will face garage door since we need to find a glass company to replace front windshield. Will need to go over all the panel edges and double check all the surfaces then look for a body shop to paint. I am hearing the guy who painted all my other projects took a day job and shut his body shop business down. But one step at a time getting the car to this point has been the focus and we aren't in any big hurry here either.

You did a good job spraying the primer, why not paint it yourself?

That is an option but if we go that route will have to wait until spring '23 cause too cold now and garage not insulated.

I did do base coat clear coat on that '95 F150 bed in that other build I posted up on here back in 2014 or so.

My son prefers car be sprayed in a paint booth and he is paying that bill but we will have to see if we can find someone we have confidence in.

I took a Paint and Auto body class at our local community college.
They had us bring our project cars in so we could prep and paint them. They had a full sized downdraft booth.

You might check around for a booth you can rent for a day.

Guy who painted my other project cars is going to paint this one. So rented a trailer and got it over to his shop today.

Paint shop has car in booth ready to be painted. Guy said he had to sand a few areas here and there. Also have to go with more expensive paint because cheaper paint back ordered. But my son wanted better paint on there anyway so we fine with higher price paint.

Thanks. Painter said the prep was real good and it turned out good. We plan to bring it home Wednesday.
