So it's been a little over a year since we finished up this Jeep Ute Project. Dalton has put, get this.... over 30000 miles on it since we built it. We just got back from the Chrysler Nationals over in Carlisle, Pennsylvania where several people are convinced now that they too want to build this Jeep Ute. I've got to say the Jeep is holding up remarkably well. It is NEVER garaged and is his daily driver. It has been to the West Coast, all points south to Florida, and a steady diet of Michigan and Pennsylvania trips. Remember, this is a 2003 model Jeep.... take a look at the pic.s....

That stance was "right out of the box" after we cut it for panel fitment....

Amazes me how you guys make it looks so easy.
That truck looks like it came that way from the factory only in better shape.

Well, we are going to find out just how "easy" a build is next winter. I'm fairly sure that we will be doing a 2010 VW new Beetle build. The twist is going to be that it will have some type of removable targa top, glass top, or something that removes for open air touring. Only one has been done like this so far.... https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A ... g&__tn__=R]-R&c[0]=AT0KqTHsTDLWyNop2xx4VxN3hZFvrKLgHjvQ56nyjJ4tOcdlscyiA2k1B8gqa4O5KGuST79mvpojFa63wgCuDeLeb_Y6Bwgrh7P5P1UjXW0h_v0mlKFqZ9ytMoxo5tTYwm5eXBnRv5MxzEUM8yvdsJAotiihlpchB3HW5U7ROEbVc9aqILrNdWT6BrPajkpzhLYw-Hb_bBwP22GPNfFfXjQ I do think we might be up to the task...truck is incredibly sharp with the top off.....
