My first full restoration/modification project. The truck was purchased new the year my father was born. It was used to haul grain on the farm in South Dakota. It was parked in '68 after the motor blew for the second time. It sat until my father pulled it from the farm 4 years ago. I knew the truck meant a lot to him, and I asked him if I could resurrect it for him. It was a ton of work. It was really hammered. A lot of hammer and dolly, welding, and body work. Roof was caved in, doors caved, fenders smashed, and we decided to go BBC, so I had to fabricate an entire fire wall. I will say this, the information I gleaned from this website was amazing and guided me through every step. I thank you guys for taking the time to share your knowledge...amazing.

Interior isn't finished, but I did a fair amount of mods to the dash and bead rolled door panels out of aluminium. |
Nice. Gonna be quite the ride when done.

Very nice work, it's cool to see a Stude M on here! Great work on the interior, I like the way the AC fits and those door panels are nice. I plan on doing mine a metallic green too.
Any updates on it for us? |
