I was able to get the lid sanded and lay down 2 coats. I was surprised at how well the first coat covered but went with 2 anyways. I love the color as it looks like straight Black until you get close to it, then the metallic pops. Looks good to me for a first time rookie! I can't wait to see it when I lay down the 2 Metallic Gold Racing stripes.

I just finished the stripes on the bed cover. I'm very pleased with the color and the way it turned out! Next the hood.
