Happy New Year guys!

No snow yet this year Dennis, but soooo much rain, I have animals gathering in pairs near the shop waiting me to get to work on the arc. Darn good thing it hasn't been cold enough to snow or I would be up to my eyeballs in it.

I didn't realize the Govt. shutdown would affect you Dennis, I feel really bad for all those folks going without paychecks.

I'm getting closer with the booth, putting up lights right now, then finishing the intake and exhaust system. I had a setback, my back is no good again for the last month+, so that didn't help, plus we had a storm and lost power for 5 days :flatten: :flatten:

I'll have pics of the booth when it's done, probably put up a separate post about it as well, in case anyone else finds it interesting.

Please be careful with your Back!!!!! Don't over do it! You went way too long living in pain every day. I have just now been able to really push my wrist and it lets me know when I have over done it. I still cant do really heavy stuff or Hammer on anything like I used too but I get things done if I go slow.

Ya That new Job I got 7-8 months ago is a good one I guess but I am affected by the shut down. And I am starting to feel it financially. Its only gonna get worse if it doesn't end this week or next. I haven't filed for unemployment but thinking I should.

I've been careful especially with heavy stuff. Don't know what happened, just flared up out of the blue, same pain down the legs as before with a few added twists. I have an MRI later this month, they're doing them 24/7 now so only a 7 week wait instead of a year   Happy to hear your wrist is hanging in there, we just need to know our limits.

Seems to me there is still a lot of uncertainty over the shutdown, I don't think there's any downside to applying for unemployment. You'd be kicking yourself if a month from now nothing has changed, God forbid.

Ya the longer this drags on the worst I am gonna be financially.
I have a Guy offering me a local Job at a little contract out fit But he wants me permanent 6$ an hour pay cut 2$ raise in 6 months and No raises after that as I would be at max Pay for locals plus No Pension No 401K and the medical insurance sucks.
As a Part time deal it would be fine. As a Temporary deal it would be fine. But I cant leave my current gig for it I would be a Fool.

Like I said before I may not love this New Gig I got But it is a dang good job even with the Government shut down. I really shouldn't complain about it too much.

So Back to the cars I got too get the Bird on that Rotisserie today, I purchased all the steel I thought I would need should have bought more, I was out there for a little bit yesterday did some welding then I had to leave,
Today I want to get the new mounts done and get the thing in the air.

I am Mounting it to the Pinch welds on the car, I haven't ever seen anyone do it like that on the internet but I am gonna try it. Just seams like the right way to do it too me.
Plus the trunk Pan isn't fully welded in yet and the Tail panel is still off of it so I cant mount to the rear bumper mounts as there aren't any yet lol.

Shoot I forgot I have a thousand pounds of Glass bead being delivered today as well I have to get out there !

I will get some pics of it, its on there now got it on yesterday. it rolls, not Happy with my design holding it but it does work.
I used Long bars with a Splice holding them together in the middle that was a bad call should have one solid bar on each side and grabbed them by the ends.
As soon as I get back to work I will change it but for now it works, it just Bows a little more than I would like under the cars weight.
Gonna play with it more today.
Batterys in my Camera were dead will get some today.

Looks good Dennis. I've never used a rotisserie, always find it interesting to see how it's attached. Seems like a daunting task with plenty that can go wrong. I'll be giving it a whirl eventually when I get to the TR3.

How's the house reno going Doug? Never much fun I'm sure. We're getting some hardwood floor put down in the lower bedroom tomorrow hopefully.

All the lights are up in the booth and the desiccant setup is installed , working on the intake filter banks now.
