That is really cool. Something else I need to look into.

Still a lot of mostly little things left to do on the Stang but most days something else comes off the list :goodjob:

Hows the Back doing?
My wife's Journey to getting to Back surgery has been painful one but we finally have a date in May.
I think her symptoms are very similar to yours two blown out disks and Pinched nerves as they pass through the vertebra.
I am looking forward to the day we can go Walking and Hiking again.

New tires showed up for the Skid loader and my CJ.
Got the Skid loader all fixed up now with new Kicks & unloaded the plating tanks on the trailers what a Mess!

I have to get the CJ7 Jeep down to the Tire shop now to get its new Sneakers put on it today or tomorrow BFG's TKO 33 12.50 15s gonna look sharp! cant wait to repaint it this next year.
Still have to get some steel to build & mount my new Winch 12k lb.
And build a custom spare tire rack for the back with two Jerry can mounts & Handyman jack mount. After I get it all set up like I want I am gonna blow it apart for paint.

Dang Vett is giving me fits again Main Belt is Squealing after I got the new Harmonic balancer & new power steering pulley on it.
Tried new belt tensioner and new idler pulleys no help! It has to be the new pulley on the power steering pump. either I pressed it on to much OR not enough!
I wont drive it like it is embarrassing!

Had to replace the left front wheel bearing hub on the VW last week. it had been groaning for a while, glad it hung in their till it was convenient for me to replace it last week.
I am so glad I fixed it when I had to do the head and cam. I was so close to Junking it out.
With Gas prices the way they are I couldn't afford my commute without it.

Then when driving home from tire shop with the Skid loader tires my F250 decides it wants to Violently start shaking side to side one of the front tires Belts broke and started throwing rubber so its time for new rubber on it! dam tires are knee deep in rubber too very few miles on them dam things arent even that old.

Dont get me wrong I am not complaining I know things can get worse.
Lost Mom to Covid in Feb. Then Heat & air went out on my house was not repairable had to buy a new unit, Then The stove in my house went out as well Parts not available to repair and of course wife wants the overhead Micro wave to match!!!!
Its like WOW! really??????

Sorry to hear about your Mom, lost the mother in law around the same time from a stroke.

My back is really good, I've been doing this shockwave thing and it's been great ever since. Look into it, other than a few bucks, nothing to lose. Physio wellness kind of places usually have it.

Man you just don't have any luck with your vehicles do you. That's got to be frustrating. Plus the house stuff, didn't need that.

I'm working on the fuel system, tank has a 3/8" outlet so I ran new 3/8" line to a 1968 fuel pump with 3/8" inlet. Turns out that the outlet on the pump is 5/16", seems odd to choke it down near the carb but I hear that it's common with Ford and Dodge. Need to get a 5/16 fitting for the carb or a 5/16 to 3/8 fuel filter. Bit by bit it's coming together.

MAN Im done I mean really done I am so sick of the BS in my life.

I mean hell I am trying to get the new AC installed (MAJOR Pain in the rear end)
AC Duct work needs modification to make old stuff to make it all work)

Plus had new stove delivered for the one Calvin broke
(Granite counter top has to be cut and trimmed so new stove will fit!)

Vett in shop too fix squealing belt still haven't had time to get to it

VW has a dam flat to fix! in driveway

Dam F250 front tire coming apart belts broken in tire also in yard ordered new tires wont be here for another week!

So I take the dam BMW to Home depot to get cutting blade for counter top and some sheet metal for the air duct and a few fitting so I can Solder AC lines together, get it all come home wife needs to go to doctor appointment.... I head to the shop start on sheet metal project about half way thru it she comes over to shop dont be mad at me .....

Generally its something simple and stupid

She Flushed the one and only key to the dam BMW down the toilet!! ???? !!!!!

Im like NOOOOO really ? say its not true

So Now I pull the Toilet just because maybe maybe, but no its gone. wouldn't have done do much good its electronic, To make it worse one of the studs snapped off the floor for the toilet!

So I break down and call the Steeler give them the Vin and order 2 new keys $550 EACH!
Supposedly pre programed BUT you do have to initialize them to the car. Parts guy says its relatively simple deal explains it, I talked to Service dept they says they need the car and $150 each for each key fob after I buy the new fobs.

OH and then we need the title or registration for the parts guy to order the keys from Germany, SHE cant find the Title!!!! The reg is in the car locked up!!!!!

Luckily I got into it

 :knockout: :realmad: :splat: :flatten: :knockout: :flatten:

It's a wonder you even get out of bed in the morning. Talk about never ending lousy luck :knockout:

That's another thing I hate about newer cars, a new key costs a fortune. Absolutely ridiculous.

You have a lot ahead of you just to get back to neutral, good luck.

Yeah the Stang is getting closer, still a pretty long list of mostly little things to do. Some not so little. The grill surround with after market headlight doors and retaining parts are supposed to be a bit of a nightmare to fit. I'm going to start on that as soon as I can get someone over to help me put the hood on. Align hood and fenders then work on the front stuff.

I got a bunch of parts, only a few small ones I'm waiting on. Finally got the shifter leaver after almost a year wait.
I managed to make the repop headlight extensions work with the original headlight doors so that was a bonus. The repop headlight doors are rough, happy to not have to use them. Wasn't too hard to fit everything, mostly just the holes are way off so nothing major.
The list is getting somewhat shorter, still a ways to go.

One thing at a time

I been busy fixing things around the house Heat and Air, Stove & matching Micro wave.
Had to Cut the Granite counter top to make stove fit, Still need to cut it some more not happy with the fit yet, But its in their. New over head Micro wave was no exception Cabinets required modification as well to make new micro fit.
Got the Air conditioning all done that was a fun job.... NOT!!!!!!!!!! What a Pain in the ****!

I am gonna try to get the new rubber on my Jeep today then go play with the Vett try to fix that belt squeal, I thought I fixed it last week replacing one of the idler pulleys stayed quite for about an hour driving it around then started Chirping then full on Squeal again!

When I was changing the pulley it looked like the shaft that the pulley sits on may be damaged by a bad bearing spun on it at some point in the cars life.
I don't know if I can fix it or not may have to replace the bracket that the pulley sits on all together. That will be fun to find....
not convinced I have to change it yet I may try some special Bearing/Insert Locktite first, Stuff is Hard to find but not impossible and it may work? I dunno yet but I have a few other tricks up my sleeve to try yet will see.

Wow, and I mean wow.... I obviously have few to little problems compared to you Dennis. I'm going to stop crabbing about a lot of stuff now. We are getting ready to turn the upper floor of our house into an Air BNB with separate entrance, parking, picnic area, and such. Already did the AC/heating system before the pandemic lowered the boom on our plans so we really don't have that much more to do......
Metal, wood, fiberglass, we work it all... www.furniturephysicians.com We can restore the irreplaceable!
