Sure has been quiet. We've been off in the motorhome a lot, just got back yesterday. I severed a tendon in my finger a month ago so everything I do is a bit more awkward but I'm still plugging away on the Stang and the garage wiring.

What are you doing in NZ Dennis?

I don't think we've heard from Doug in half a year or more, hope all is well.

Hey U
I'm working hear, Been here for 6 weeks still have a couple more weeks to go then I can finally go home for a while. They have more trips planned for me though :(
I hate traveling I really do but It's a job

Being gone for so long its kinda a No brainier I haven't been doing squat on any of my projects lol. I did drop off and prepaid for all My Vetts engine work at my Machinist before I left, Boy was he happy!
Any way when I get home I can put that together real quick and get it over to the Tuner to reprogram the engine CPU.
I ported the heads to increase flow and shaved the heads and the block to increase the compression a little plus added a healthy little cam into the mix as well so it will need some tuning. I just hope I don't have to go with bigger injectors or a bigger fuel pump hoping to be able to just increase the fuel pressure a little we will see?

Did I tell You about my crushed finger I did a while back working on that Chevelle?
That was NASTY! Had to have surgery on it that slowed me down a bit lol

Ya Its been a while for Doug I too hope everything is ok :?:

It would be cool to see the country there but the flight there and back would kill me. A crushed finger doesn't sound like much fun, hope it's back to normal now. As far as I know I won't need surgery on the finger, we'll find out in a couple weeks when I take this splint thing off. Going to get an injection in my spine today, hopefully it helps the back. I REALLY want to get the Stang in paint by the fall.

Yup, last Dec without warning the pain down the leg came back with a vengeance, didn't do anything to cause it which is weird. On the upside I had 8 good years before it happened again. We'll see how it goes with the injection, fingers crossed. Like you I'm in no hurry to have more surgery. I hope you can deal with the pain or better yet it eases up a bunch, pain tires you out.

I finally made it home! long awaited, been gone for two months. I really do hate flying heck I hate travel period! a 4 hr flight followed by a 14 hr flight followed by another 1 hr flight plus an hour drive, add in layovers in between flights and multiple repetitive ruthless security checks and Customs and I was one beat up guy by the time I got home.

Home sight for sore eyes:
The Home Place is a HUGE mess! totally over grown with Tumble weeds everywhere!
Guess I will be doing yard work today right off the Bat! Why does my Son Live here?
Guess I will be fixing Tractors today as well because as I remember I killed it last time I used it and told myself it was cheaper to buy a good used one rather than try fixing it any more! I will see what I can do with it?

I cant get my phone to down load my pics from it to my computer, think there maybe something wrong with it. If I get it figured out I will post a few pics from NZ that I would like to share.

Oh well need to get busy before it gets HOT!

Glad you made it home safe and sound Dennis. What a brutally long trip home. I hate travelling, I like being different places but getting there and back is just awful especially when multiple airports are involved. As much as there are ruthless security checks you can't blame them, the world is full of lunatics and I don't want any of them on my flight.

You should of given the boy a list of things to keep under control while you were gone, like the yard.

I'm getting close to shooting some paint on the inner side of the hood, trunk, fenders and doors. Hopefully this week

I dont mind the security checks if they used some common sense in doing it.
After you go through one and get on a plane there is no reason to go through two more at the arrival airport you land at if you haven't left the terminal and are getting on another flight!

Hope your Back is feeling better
Cant wait to see some paint on the Stang how did you do with the fender?

I got an injection in my back a few weeks ago and it worked great, so for now at least I'm back to normal.

I had to go back to one of the other fenders, not a clue what the deal is with the really nice one I got, doesn't fit at all in several places.

My current issue is my left tire is about an 1 1/4" forward of the right one and will hit the fender once I get the car down to ride height. I haven't shimmed the upper control arms yet so hopefully when I do that it will help somewhat?
