I been workin with these hard drives, driving me nuts! New software kinda cool powerful tool kinda intimidating. It does work but is VERY time consuming takes for ever days in fact! I did one went pretty fast did another did it wrong did another did it wrong!
When you do it right it Takes forever! The one I am doing now has ran 12 hours or so and it says 30 hrs to go ruffly! and its only a 250 gig hard drive those others are 500s and bigger.

One of the ckt boards came to day and while it did not fix all the drives woes, I was able to see some files but I don't think its the one I am looking for.
The one I really want to look in wont boot at all and I have ordered a new ckt board for it will see if it works or not in a day or two when it gets here.
Meanwhile I have successfully avoided insulation wk under house on rental and the Paint work lol. But I cant hide from it tomorrow I got to hit it hard.

Any luck?

I'm still waiting on some parts. It's unbelievable how nothing is moving. My supplier has a lot of bare shelves with nothing coming in for weeks.

I did get the ebrake installed but still have to get the adjustment right. Once that's done I have to put the lowering blocks in the back and run the exhaust.

Nope! But I have to try you know? I am not giving it enough time though either to dig into the old drives, keep running into files that wont open so I cant see them for what ever reason, Its like the file is missing the extension to what ever program created it and it wants me to use a program to open it. I need to spend some time with a Computer expert
and learn some new tricks.

I been waiting 8-9 months for those ARP head bolts for the Hemi Commander, Its the last and only thing I am still waiting on to put the engine together. I can get stock bolts and a ARP Stud kit all day long.

Once engine is in the truck removing or installing heads with Studs would be impossible so using studs is out of the question.
Using stock Stretch bolts is not cool in my opinion due to the necessary multiple torque sequences and the actual Stretch process. Its just to cramped under the hood. I wanna Just Torque them down in one shot and forget them you can do that with the ARP bolts.

Its just about impossible to pull or install the engine with the heads on the block so it has to be done after the short block is bolted in the dang thing is no dam fun.

Rental repairs are coming along but not as quickly as I would like still plugging away on that right now.

Over 8 months wait for head bolts is insane. I just don't get it, makes no sense. I've been waiting about 4 months for rocker shaft spacers but I think they're finally coming later this month. Still waiting on a bunch of Stang parts too. Maybe nobody is working? Up here there's a help wanted sign at pretty much every business. When the government pays people to not work everyone just milks it for all it's worth.

Exactly
This whole Covid deal has been a sham since very beginning, People are Sheep.
And it continues.......

Personally I think... Well I cant say what I think personally without offending & disturbing the Liberal ideology of the Woke generation I.E COMMUNIST!
I would probably be banned from the internet lol.

All I can say is people are talking about politics openly, Now more than ever before.
Most all I have spoken too are NOT happy with the direction the USA is going.

I have a feeling once all the new Taxes go into effect and people figure out that they are being taxed at more than 50% with inflation higher than ever before and energy at all time high prices things will start to change, And not in a nice way.
Back people into a corner with no choices and fight or flight kicks in.
Once they recognize the fact they have no where to run too that only leaves one alternative.

I went to my parts supplier today to get an alternator. Fortunately they had one in stock, not the one I wanted but good enough. The guy said we can't get anything out of the US. Apparently there isn't enough parts in the US to meet their needs so virtually nothing is shipping to Canada.
I hope I can get the few parts I still need to finish the Stang. I've never seen anything like this in my life.
It's been raining crazy here for a few days, mud slides all over, highways closed. At least it isn't snow

We were lucky, our place is fairly elevated and we're on a gravel pit more or less so we didn't have any issues. My son had some flooding in his shop. The worst was on the mainland, a couple of towns we go to every year are literally under water. We had 10" of rain in 3 days in some places. It's pretty brutal, 4 months ago half the province was on fire, now it's flooded. Feel really bad for the people that got hit hard.

Turns out the alternator I got isn't right, now the search is on for the right one. Hard to believe even basic parts are a problem to get.

Well last weekend was stress full Old lady old Pontiac Grand prix tranny bit the dust.
Put it on lift to pull it looked at what I had to do did the math in my head said F it! Not worth fixing sell it or haul to junk yard! Runs good looks ok but not worth effort! too much work lets go buy a new used car......

Well that was a Night mare !!!!!!!!!!
Used car prices are STUPID! I.E $30,000 for an 2009! Dodge Challenger NOPE! not doing it! came home with intent to do Tranny. ate dinner sat at Puter found a decent deal online for a 07 BMW in California.
Went to work and drove up to look at it after work friday in Bakerfield from Palmdale.

Car looked good and ran good drove good ok do the deed drive car back to Palmdale.
In the morning I get in it start it and its running ruff! after warming up its starts running fine call guy up tell him nope want monies back he says no I am stuck with it fix it.

Not a happy guy right now I plugged my computer into it says cyl 7 gonna try a coil pack. change oil and plugs. Trying to get manual for it but have to wait a week for it to get here.
Never had BMW before heard the nightmare story's always avoided them.
I did get the guy down a grand on price and I really cant complain about price I paid and such a cheap price for this model or any BMW should have been my first clue.

Yeah car prices have gone nuts, new and used. I don't understand this chip shortage issue. As much as I like BMW's the parts are crazy expensive.

Still picking away at the Stang and also the TR. I need to pull the rear end on the TR this week, it's partially seized and seals are gone, it's a nasty mess. It's a bit of a pain to remove, it sits between the frame and body so have to pull drums, backing plates and axles to wiggle it out. :knockout:
