The Line I used to go to the compressor was the 1/2 Air hose and 1/2 inch fittings I had been using as a Pre cooler before. I couldn't see wasting nearly a 100 feet of it so I bought a few extra fitting and did some plumbing with it.

I had ran mine with 3/8 inch hose for years, It worked well.
I had no idea the greater air flow of the 1/2 would make such a dramatic difference in its performance but it makes sense when you think about it.
You also have to to think about the fact that I have a very Large compressor bigger than most people have. I don't know if a smaller compressor would be able to keep up with a Blaster with 1/2 air lines? That's a lot of air!

Hmm, that's a good point about the size of the compressor, mine is fairly large for a home shop but not really industrial size. It's 80 gallon with a 7.5 HP motor but it does run quite a bit as it is with the 3/8" line.

I have the heater controls figured out, need to figure out the wiring next. I think a wire from the fuse block goes to one wire on the motor and the other wire from the motor goes to the resistor.

In addition to not bagging and tagging well my notes are totally disorganized. Next time all notes will go in one book, not a 100 loose pieces of paper that get lost or misplaced :knockout: :knockout:

Oh I hear you on the disorganization and bad planning on My part as well.
This is where Jim I think used a computer program, Pictures and Notes he was way right!

I am not sure about 65 Ford wiring, I only ever played with one 65 Mustang and that was 20+ years ago. I wish I was closer to you I could come over and help you with it.
I don't have a schematic for it so I don't want to guess! guessing and wiring is a bad idea!

I was wanting to up grade the wiring in the Bird to a later year so i could use newer components and I still may? But that will require me spending more money on newer components, not sure what I am gonna do yet.
I am leaning towards just a Plug and play harness and leaving the car Non AC.

I am still hoping & wishing to get my hands on a wrecked Late model Camero.
If I do I will rob it of everything!

The Only thing I have left to blast is My steering Box and Cross member for the transmission and my wiper motor. Both Cross member and Wiper motor I think i am just gonna buy as they are in bad shape. The steering box is good other than resealing it.

Some one has taken and cut off the trans mount off the cross member and welded it back on, I assume this was for converting it from a Turbo 350 to a 400? and then back as I removed a turbo 350 But to say its ugleeeee! is an understatement! at the very least I need to cut it off and re-weld it. For what I can get a new one for its really not worth my time to mess with it. If I get my hands on a late model Camero its moot any way as I will need to make a custom cross member.

Pictures and notes in a computer program sounds amazing! That would be the way to go for sure.
I figured out the heater wiring now I need to figure out the convertible wiring. From what I've learned so far I won't be doing it the way it was before. I think it was originally wired from the battery not the fuse block.

A late model doner car sounds like a great plan if you can find one for a decent price.

I wish Jim would chime in here about what hes using? Its obviously working for him.
The extra effort is paying off in spades! by his progress he posts.

I am gonna finish up what I got going on and chock it up to learning. Any new Projects will be done totally different! I am gonna start researching Programs or Using note books more! I would Rather use a computer Program I can attach pics too though! just seams like the way to do it? take pics and load them into a Program in a particular order to do things! That way to assemble you just reverse the order.

I haven't been out there all week long and now I am leaving on a Business trip Tuesday.

20 min latter as I thought about my cheap Acetates cooking away out their last few days without checking on them.

I just went out their my Nickle Anode/Cathode in my Nickle bathe burned through and my cooking stopped at some point the last few days, Fixed it and now its back to cooking, It should be done by now and its not that's really disappointing.

Maybe we should put up a post on how people document their disassembly? If there's a program where you could load pictures with comments that would be amazing! Especially for those like me that take forever to complete a restoration. Wouldn't be so bad if you did it in a few months while you still remember some of it. I have bags with stuff in it that I can't identify, hopefully it will make sense somewhere along the assembly :whoops:

There are other mustang Forums you could post pics of stuff I am sure others could help identify some stuff for you.
I have a few small items that don't make sense to me either, but Once I start putting stuff together and looking at stuff and looking at the assembly manual that will help a lot.

Do you have one of these?
https://www.cjponyparts.com/assembly-ma ... RlEALw_wcB

theirs also this one:
https://haynes.com/en-us/ford-mustang-h ... rbEALw_wcB

I don't know how good either one of them are?
I bought some restoration guide for Firebirds it was a total waste of money.
But the Assembly manual I got was a Gold mine!!

I have the first one you posted, not all that great. The detail isn't very good and lacks description. I have a couple other ones similar to the other one you showed. Between the 3 I do occasionally get something useful but it's kind of like the internet, you get something but rarely exactly what you're looking for.

I found something called restoration manager, sounds like the kind of software you were talking about. There's a free trial so I'll probably give it a try.

Looked into that restoration manager software, sounds like overkill and they host your pics/text. I have no interest in getting into another photobucket type of experience. Just want something simple that I own, not a monthly payment plan for eternity :splat:

I imagine you could use a program like Word or Excel to organize your thoughts and process. I know you can add pictures into a word document and you could try it with Excel. The nice thing about Excel is you could have separate tabs for different aspects or sections of the resto.
